A fruitful success for Kampung Fund Walk 2013 - Treasure Hunt!

For the second year, Leo Club of Penang Metropolitan (Omega) has successfully carried out another mega-scale project - Kampung Fund Walk 2013 - Treasure Hunt before the end of the fiscal year of 2012-2013.
The event is jointly organised by Lions Club of Penang Metropolitan and Leo Club of Penang Metropolitan (Omega), and is fully supported by Penang State Government, Municipal Council of Seberang Perai and Penang State Sports Council.

Unlike the last year event, this year, the Organising Chairperson, Leo Teh Khai Tzong and his organising committee had included 9 stations games and a treasure hunt clue for the participants. Numerous of tasks have to be completed within a given time frame.

A total fund of RM 4,000.00 was successfully raised and was donated to two beneficiaries, Persatuan Penyayang Seberang Perai and Persatuan Kebajikan Amal Qi Li Xiang (RM 2,000.00 each beneficiary).

Organising Chairperson, Leo Teh Khai Tzong announced a success for the event and he hoped that the event will promote a healthier lifestyle to the society and community.

Kampung Fund Walk 2013 - Treasure Hunt - 9th June 2013

Since 2012, Leo Club of Penang Metropolitan (Omega) had organised the Kampung Fund Run 2012, now we are back again with Kampung Fund Walk Treasure Hunt 2013!

Again, we are proudly to present you the upcoming jointly organised event with our sponsoring Lions Club - Lions Club of Penang Metropoliton.

Kampung Fund Walk 2013 - Treasure Hunt

The main objective of this event is to enhance a rural lifestyle and bringing in a refreshing “de-stress” fun activities. In addition, we would like to fund-raise for several non-governmental community service organizations. Participants will be given with a goodies bag and certificate. Those who complete the hunt will entitle for the LUCKY DRAW which included IPAD mini.

Date  : 9th June 2013 (Sunday)

Time  : 7.00am to 12pm

Venue : Pasar Awam Berapit (Berapit, 14000 Bukit Mertajam)

Participant & Fee: A team shall comprise to (minium and maximum of) 4 participants and entries must be accompanied by the relevant entry fees (RM 40) (including a t-shirt).

Objective

# To encourage and create a sense of love for the environment.

# To create public awareness on the importance of health.

Rules and Regulations

1.  Participation is open to everyone.  Permission from guardians is required for participants below the age of 18.

2.  A non-returnable registration fee of RM10 is charged.  The fee included 1 T-shirt, 1 Bun, 1 Drinking Water,

 1 Lucky Draw Ticket & etc.

3.  Entries are limited to 1500 participants and are on first-come-first-served basis.

4.  A certificate of recognition will be issued to participants who manage to reach the finishing line within 2 1/2   

 hours from the starting time (7.30am-10.00am). 

5. Closing date is on 30^th March 2013
