For the second year, Leo Club of Penang Metropolitan (Omega) has successfully carried out another mega-scale project - Kampung Fund Walk 2013 - Treasure Hunt before the end of the fiscal year of 2012-2013.
The event is jointly organised by Lions Club of Penang Metropolitan and Leo Club of Penang Metropolitan (Omega), and is fully supported by Penang State Government, Municipal Council of Seberang Perai and Penang State Sports Council.
Unlike the last year event, this year, the Organising Chairperson, Leo Teh Khai Tzong and his organising committee had included 9 stations games and a treasure hunt clue for the participants. Numerous of tasks have to be completed within a given time frame.
A total fund of RM 4,000.00 was successfully raised and was donated to two beneficiaries, Persatuan Penyayang Seberang Perai and Persatuan Kebajikan Amal Qi Li Xiang (RM 2,000.00 each beneficiary).
Organising Chairperson, Leo Teh Khai Tzong announced a success for the event and he hoped that the event will promote a healthier lifestyle to the society and community.
